She is an active member of the Portrait Society of Atlanta and the Portrait Society of America. Her paintings express her inner feelings and preferences in nature and the world at large. "I strive for a mood, a likeness, and an interesting composition in a more classic style with painterly strokes.....I pray that my portraits serve a need, and provide happiness by capturing the essence of their loved ones...the dignity, the romance, the lushness, interesting the viewer time after time."
